2. OLED is not lit 3. No Remote Control Reception
Check the connection.
Has a contact failure occurred or is a connector
missing?
FFC : MAIN PCB [PF11] to FRONT PCB [WF11]
Check the power supply voltage.
Does the power supply voltage largely deviate
from 3.3V?
MAIN PCB [PF11 : 4pin]
Check if the connection is as indicated in the wir-
ing diagram and adjust the FFC wiring if necessary.
If this does not re-establish contact in the wiring,
replace the FFC or the circuit board which the con-
nectors are mounted on.
The MAIN PCB [Q221, Q223] or SMPS power sup-
ply circuit may be malfunctioning.
Check each part listed after "YES" in "1.3. Power
Supply Voltage Abnormalities".
NO
YES
Check the connection.
Has a contact failure occurred or is a connector
missing?
FFC : MAIN PCB [PF11] to FRONT PCB [WF11]
Is there an abnormality in any of the voltages of
FRONT PCB [WF11]?
[WF11] 12pin +16V_OLED = +16V,
8pin +3.3.VOLED = +3.3V
Is the OLED_RST logic "Hi" in FRONT PCB [WF11 :
26pin] after starting the power supply?
Check if the connection is as indicated in the wir-
ing diagram and adjust the FFC wiring if neces-
sary.
If this does not re-establish contact in the wiring,
replace the FFC or the circuit board which the
connectors are mounted on.
Check each part listed after "YES" in "1.3. Power
Supply Voltage Abnormalities".
The MCU [IC20] is malfunctioning or latched.
Check each part of the MCU.

Turn on the power and check the waveform of
the digital signal.
FRONT PCB[WF11 : 13-23pin]
Is there an abnormality in the "Hi" (3.3V) or "Lo"
(0V) level?
NO
The MCU [IC20] is malfunctioning or latched.
Check each part of the MCU.
YES
Check that the OLED module contacts [WF12]. If
no abnormalities are apparent, it is likely there is
a malfunction in the OLED module.
Replace the OLED module.
Check that you are using a [RC-1222] remote control and replace the batteries.
NO
YES
Is a square wave input when the power is on and
a switch is pressed on the remote control while it
is pointed towards the device?
FRONT PCB [RC11 : 1pin, WF11 : 6pin]
The FRONT PCB [RC11] or [WF11] may be mal-
functioning.
Replace the [RC11] or FFC connector.
Is a square wave input in [PF11] and MCU[IC20]
of the MAIN PCB when the power is on and a
switch is pressed on the remote control while it
is pointed towards the device?
PF11 : 6pin
IC20 : 26pin RC_IN
NO
The 26pin of MAIN-FRONT FFC[PF11] or
MCU[IC20] may be malfunctioning.
Replace the FFC, FFC connector or MCU[IC20].
YES
The FRONT PCB or MAIN PCB may be malfunc-
tioning.
Replace the FRONT PCB or MAIN PCB.
