If your DeVilbiss Health Care Products unit operates, the Power light is on, but the Red Service Required light is illuminated, and an audible alert may be sounding, consider the following: Check the air filter and wash it if it is dirty. Check the exhaust area to ensure nothing is restricting it. Detach the cannula or face mask; if proper flow is restored, clean or replace them. Disconnect the oxygen tubing at the oxygen outlet; if flow returns, inspect the tubing for obstructions or kinks and replace if needed. Detach the humidifier; if proper flow is obtained, clean or replace it. Finally, ensure the flow meter is set to the prescribed rate. If problems persist, contact your DeVilbiss provider.
