What to do if DeVilbiss IntelliPAP DV54 Medical Equipment blower does not start and E06 error displays?
    • A
      Ashley ReedAug 3, 2025
If the DeVilbiss Medical Equipment blower does not start when powered up and displays an E06 error, first, remove the cover and inspect the pressure sensor, flow sensor, and chassis tubing for disconnections, occlusions, or kinks; correct any identified issues. Next, check for damage to the chassis, foam pieces, and tubing, replacing any damaged components. Then, remove the control board and look for signs of water damage to the blower assembly, pressure sensor, and/or flow sensor, replacing any damaged parts. Inspect the blower for any visible space between the top and bottom sections, and reconnect the halves if necessary. Finally, recalibrate the pressure and flow sensors. If the error persists after these steps, the control board should be replaced.

What to do if DeVilbiss IntelliPAP DV54 Medical Equipment blower does not start when powered up?
    • J
      Jessica RichardsonAug 17, 2025
If the DeVilbiss Medical Equipment blower fails to start upon powering up, remove the cover and check for any disconnected wire harnesses, reconnecting them if necessary. Check the fuses to see if any are open. Measure the voltages on both sides of the F1 fuse; if 12 +/-.5 VDC is not present on both sides, the fuse is open, and the power supply board should be replaced. Measure the resistances on the F2 and F3 fuses with an ohmmeter (without AC power to the unit); if either fuse is open, replace the PC control board. If all fuses are closed, test with a blower known to operate properly. If the new blower works, replace the old blower; if it doesn't, replace the control board. Replace the cover.

Next, check for damage to any foam pieces and/or tubing, replacing any damaged components. Then, remove the control board and look for signs of water damage to the blower assembly, pressure sensor, and flow sensor, replacing any damaged components. Inspect the blower for any visible space between the top and bottom sections, and press the halves together to eliminate the space. Repeat the pressure and flow accuracy tests. If the pressure or flow remains out of tolerance, recalibrate the ...

If your DeVilbiss Medical Equipment displays calibration failure error codes E95, E96, E97, or E98 during calibration, remove the cover. Inspect the air intake filter, intake foam components, and all internal tubing for damage and/or loose connections; replace or reconnect components as needed. Check the pressure sensor, flow sensor, or chassis tubing for disconnected, occluded, or kinked sections; reconnect or replace tubing as needed. Remove the control board and inspect the blower assembly, pressure sensor, and flow sensor for signs of water damage, replacing any damaged parts. Inspect the blower for any visible space between the top and bottom sections, pressing the halves together to eliminate the space. Repeat the Manual Calibration Procedure.
