2. To detach the flow generator from the humidifier cradle,
first remove the water chamber then fully depress the flow
generator release button to separate (Fig 12).
NOTE
- The flow generator release button must be pressed completely to
separate.
3. Use a soft damp cloth to clean the surfaces of the unit.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem Probable Cause Remedy
Unit does not turn
on. Power indicator
not lit.
1. Flow generator is not
plugged in or the power
cord is not fully inserted.
2. The flow generator is not
fully seated onto the
humidifier cradle.
3. There is no outlet power.
1. Plug the power cord into a live
power source. Ensure that the
power cord is properly
connected to the unit and the
power source.
2. Refer to System Assembly in this
manual for instructions on
system setup.
3. Locate a suitable functioning
power source.
The air supply does
not seem to be
high enough.
The flow generator is not fully
seated onto the humidifier
cradle.

manual for instructions on
system setup.
2. Make sure the air supply port
plug is fully inserted into the
back of the CPAP.
The device reports
a mask leak but my
mask seems to be
fitting well.
1. The humidifier chamber is
not fully engaged or is
missing.
2. The air supply port plug is
missing from the back of
the CPAP or not fully
inserted.
1. Slide the humidifier chamber
fully into the cradle. Verify the
release latch clicks into place.
2. Make sure the air supply port
plug is fully inserted into the
back of the CPAP.

manual for instructions on system
setup.
The heater setting
is not visible on the
LCD display.
The flow generator is not fully
seated onto the humidifier
cradle.
1. Refer to instructions in System
Assembly.
If the problem continues, contact
your home care provider.
Dryness of throat
or nose.
Inadequate humidity level. Increase the heater setting on the
humidifier.
Excessive
condensation or
water in tubing.
1. Heater control setting too
high.
2. Heated humidifier is placed
higher than patient.
3. Humidifier chamber
overfilled.
1. Reduce heater control setting.
2. Move unit to a lower position.
3. Water level in chamber should
not be above the maximum
level.
