What to do if I don’t hear any lead voice or harmony vocals coming from the DigiTech Computer Hardware outputs?
    • H
      heatherreedJul 29, 2025
If you aren't hearing any lead voice or harmony vocals from the DigiTech Computer Hardware outputs, start by confirming that the device connected to the outputs is powered on, the volume is up, and it's not muted. Also, check that the correct Vocal Input (Mic or Line) is selected. Make sure the Vocal Input Signal LED lights green when you sing into the microphone, adjusting the vocal input with the Vocal Input – Input Level knob. Ensure the Lead and Harmony Levels knobs are turned up and the Effects On/Off – Harmony button is selected. If the Main Out works but the Aux Out doesn't, verify that the Output Mode in the Global I/O Setup menu is set to Aux=Main or Main,Aux Separate. If Main, Aux Separate is selected, ensure the AuxLead Level and Aux Hrm Level settings are high enough.

If the harmony voices on your DigiTech Computer Hardware aren't tracking the guitar correctly, first check that the Guitar Input Signal Level LED lights green when you play your guitar. If it doesn't light up, try changing the GTR Sensitivity to High in the Global I/O Setup menu. If it lights amber or red, also try changing the GTR Sensitivity to High in the Global I/O Setup menu. Confirm the selected preset uses the musIQ Harmony Mode, ensure the Harmony Mode – musIQ Guitar button is selected, and make sure your guitar is properly tuned.

Why do the DigiTech Computer Hardware Main Out signals sound like they are clipping?
    • K
      Karen CunninghamAug 16, 2025
If the Main Out signals from your DigiTech Computer Hardware sound like they are clipping, first verify that the Vocal Input - Signal LED lights green when you sing into the microphone, adjusting the vocal input to the optimum level using the Vocal Input – Input Level knob. Next, turn down the input gain level on the device connected to the Vocalist Live Pro outputs. To resolve this, use an XLR to 1/4” cable or adapter to plug into your mixer’s 1/4” line inputs, or use a Direct Injection (DI) box to provide a mic level signal to the mixer’s XLR inputs.

If the harmony voices aren't tracking the MIDI keyboard properly on your DigiTech Computer Hardware, verify the MIDI keyboard is connected to the MIDI In port and turned on.
