6. Check the pump unions (circled in illustration) to be sure they are hand tight to prevent the
possibility of leakage
.
7. Remove the two shipping bolts located
on the front of the pump mount (circled in
illustration).
Then check to ensure that the gate valves
(arrows on the illustration) on the pump(s) are
in the open position (handles fully extended).
8. Inside the spa, remove the bleeder
valve(s) located in the skimmer area
(see picture at right) to allow air to
escape from the pump(s) while you
are filling the spa.
Don’t forget to replace the
bleeder valve(s) once the
pumps are operational.
