OPERATING THE PRODUCT
This section describes how to activate your re using either the manual controls and remote control.
MAINS SWITCH
Open the drawer to access the control panel. The mains switch is located on the module and controls the electricity to
the appliance (Fig 10A).
Note: This switch must be in the ‘ON’ ( I ) position for each appliance to operate.
MANUAL CONTROLS
Manual controls are discretely hidden under the log on the right hand corner of the fuel bed. To access simply lift o the
log.
REMOTE CONTROL
The remote control is supplied with 2x CR2032 batteries already tted. Pull both tabs from the rear cover to engage the
batteries (Fig 11) and allow remote operation.
Note: The tethered receiver must be tted to the product for remote control operation.
PAIRING THE REMOTE CONTROL
The remote control has wireless Bluetooth technology and needs to be paired to the receiver. This can be done by
following the steps below.
1. Open the drawer and press the rocker switch to the on (I) position.
2. Press the button on the control panel (Fig 10B); the product will turn on.
3. Press the button on the control panel (Fig 10B), the LED’s will start to slowly blink on and o.
4. Press the button on the remote control; the product LEDs will ash quickly ve times and the product will then
automatically switch o. The remote control is now paired to the product and can be used to switch it back on.
TO REPLACE THE BATTERIES
1. Remove battery cover of the remote control using a Philips screwdriver (Fig 12).
2. Correctly install two 3 Volt (CR2032 or similar) battery in the battery holder with the + side facing up .
3. Secure the battery cover using the previously removed screw.
Batteries must be recycled or disposed of properly.

GETTING THE DESIRED FLAME EFFECT
1. Switch the appliance on by pressing the main switch to the on position and pressing the button. The ames will
start after 45seconds.
2. Press the and buttons to adjust the ame to your desired level. Please give the ame generator time to react
to the changes you make.
Once you have made your adjustments to both the ame height and crackling sound, the appliance will keep these
settings even if you power o the appliance by either the on/standby button or by the main switch. The next time you
switch on the appliance, it will start up as normal, wait 45 seconds for the ames to start and then revert to the adjusted
settings.
