    • J
      Jennifer TurnerSep 3, 2025
If the heater isn't turning on but the flame effect is still working, trace the wiring in the unit. Also, the main control board or heater assembly may be defective and require replacement.

Why is there excessive noise with my Dimplex PF2325CG heater on?
    • E
      Edward ThomasSep 4, 2025
Excessive noise with the heater on may be due to a dirty heater assembly. Ensure that exterior intake louvers and the fireplace cavity are free of dirt and dust. If the noise persists, the heater assembly may be defective and require replacement.

Why is there grinding or excessive noise with my Dimplex PF2325CG Indoor Fireplace heater off?
    • S
      Sandra PattersonSep 4, 2025
Grinding or excessive noise with the heater off may be caused by the flicker rod hitting or rubbing against internal components. Ensure the rod is straight and mounted properly in the bracket, spinning freely away from other components. Replace if necessary. The flicker motor may also be defective and require replacement.

Why does my Dimplex PF2325CG Indoor Fireplace trip the circuit breaker?
    • J
      John BakerSep 5, 2025
If the Dimplex Indoor Fireplace trips the circuit breaker or blows a fuse when turned on, it could be due to a short in the unit's wiring, which requires tracing the wiring. Alternatively, the current rating of the circuit breaker or fuse may be insufficient because other appliances are drawing too much power. Try plugging the unit into another outlet or installing it on a dedicated 15 amp circuit.

      Cheryl GonzalesSep 6, 2025
If your Dimplex Indoor Fireplace isn't turning on with the remote control, the batteries might be dead, so try installing new batteries. If that doesn't work, the remote control or the floating display assembly could be defective and need replacement.

Why isn't the heater on my Dimplex PF2325CG working, but the flame is?
    • T
      Toni SalinasSep 6, 2025
If the heater on your Dimplex Indoor Fireplace isn't turning on, but the flame effect is still working, there might be loose wiring within the unit. In this case, you should trace the wiring. Additionally, the main control board or the heater assembly itself could be defective and require replacement.

Why do lights dim when my Dimplex PF2325CG is on?
    • A
      Anthony PhillipsSep 7, 2025
If the lights dim in the room when your Dimplex Indoor Fireplace is on, it means the unit is drawing close to the circuit's current rating. To resolve this, move the fireplace to another outlet or install it on a dedicated 15 amp circuit.

Overview

This document is the Owner's Manual for Dimplex electric fireplaces, specifically models PF2325 and PF3033, with a serial number format of 690932XXXX. It provides comprehensive instructions for installation, operation, maintenance, and warranty information.

Function Description

The Dimplex electric fireplace is designed to provide supplemental heat and a visual flame effect, mimicking a traditional fireplace without the need for combustion. It utilizes Comfort$aver™ technology, which automatically adjusts fan speed and heater wattage to maintain a desired room temperature efficiently. The heater operates continuously at a low level once the set point is reached, and will cycle on and off to circulate air and maintain temperature if external factors cause the room temperature to rise. The unit features gWave™ controls for touchless operation and an IR multifunction remote control for convenience. It also includes various ambient lighting color combinations (Multi-Fire XD™) and a sleep timer function.

Important Technical Specifications
