6.3 Connecting and installing I/O main unit
The I/O main unit can be attached to the wall or the floor (fig. 6, page 5)
➤ Attach the I/O main unit using four screws (1) through the fixing holes.

Connections for the I/O cards voltage supply
(cable cross section up to 10 mm²)
The connections have both 12 Vg and earth available.
The outputs have power monitoring and are therefore
short circuit proof.
The maximum power to the three connections must not
exceed 30 A in total.
2 Battery Supply battery connection
(cable cross section up to 10 mm²)
The I/O main unit should be placed as close as possible
to the battery in order to minimise the voltage drop
through the supply cable.

engine
Connection of the vehicle light system charger output
for charging the supply battery and operating the refrig-
erator during travel
(cable cross section up to 10 mm²)
Pin1 (Charging): Starter battery/charging voltage from
the light system
Pin2 (Fridge): Refrigerator
Pin3, Pin4: Negative cables
Note: Connect D+ to Pin5 (right-hand traffic lights,
pos. 5 or 6), if you want to charge the supply battery via
the vehicle light system. In the event of a discharged
battery, the relevant relay is switched to charging this
battery through the light system as a result of doing this.
