7. Install head assembly (2) on the cylinder rod and
tighten it using tool.
End By :
a. Install lift cylinders.
Tilt Cylinder
Removal & Installation
1. Start the engine. Tilt the mast forward until rod
end pin (2) can be removed. Stop the engine.
WARNING
If both tilt cylinders are to be removed, fasten a
hoist to the mast and put a support in position
under each side of the mast.
2. Fasten a hoist to the tilt cylinder. Remove
retaining bolt (1), washer and rod end pin (2).
Start the engine. Move the rod into the cylinder.
Stop the engine.
WARNING
To prevent personal injury, make sure pressure
in the hydraulic system has been released
before disconnecting any hydraulic lines. Slowly
loosen the cap of the hydraulic tank to release
any pressure in the tank. Be cautious of hot
hydraulic oil when any lines are disconnected in
the hydraulic system.
