If a fault is detected, the controller flashes the ECT function fault warning lamp to notify the operator of the
problem. The ECT function fault warning lamp is lit for one second at the power on of the controller. This is to
inform the operator of the normal power supply of the controller. (The ECT function fault warning lamp is
essential for the check up and diagnosis of the controller).
Figure 4 shows the flashing scheme of the ECT function fault warning lamp. In case of engine RPM error
(1-1-1, flash) and For./Rev. lever failure, the ECT function fault warning lamp flashes as shown in figure 4-1.
In case of two or more faults occur at the same time, the warning lamp displays all the faults in the increasing
order of flashing numbers, in cyclic mode
