Call from the phonebook
1. Press Contacts to open the phonebook.
2. Scroll through the phonebook, or quick search by pressing the key cor-
responding to the first letter of the entry, see Enter text , p.6.
3. Press OK to select an entry and see the options.
Alternatively, press to call directly.
4. Press to cancel the call.
Receive a call
1. Press or lift the handset to answer.
Press to reject the call (busy signal).
2. Press to end the call.
Tip: Press
#
to temporarily mute the ring signal.
Press + or – to adjust the ring signal volume.
Call information
During a call, the outgoing or incoming phone number and the elapsed call
time is displayed. If the identity of the caller is withheld or unknown, Un-
known number is displayed.
Call options
Mute
During a call, press z to disable the microphone. Press z again to re-ena-
ble the microphone.
Loudspeaker
During a call with the handset, press to activate loudspeaker mode. You
can then place the handset in the cradle. Speak clearly into the phone mi-
crophone at a maximum distance of 1 m. Lift the handset to deactivate
loudspeaker mode or press / to hangup.
