your device to the latest software version to get optimal performance and
the latest enhancements. You need to have a working data connection to
be able to perform the update with the firmware over-the-air (FOTA) serv-
ice. See Mobile data, p.25 on how to activate a data connection.
1. Press Menu Settings Software update.
2. Press Version to see the hardware and software version information.
3. Press Software update for software update:
• Release notes to see information about the software update
package.
The S/W information should be available at: doro.com/
softwareupdates.
• Update OK to check if there’s a software update available.
Press OK to initiate the download, then OK again to install the
update and finally one more OK to start the process.
Note! The update takes a few minutes and the phone will reboot
during the process. Do not turn of the phone or disconnect the
power during the update.

Ring settings
Select various ringtones and alerts on your device.
1. Press Menu Settings Sound Ring settings.
2. Select the sound to set and select one of the available melodies, the
melody will be played.
• Caller ringtone to select the ringtone for incoming calls.
• Message ringtone to select the tone for new messages.
Adjust volume
Adjust the volume settings for various sounds on your device.
1. Press Menu Settings Sound Adjust volume:
2. Select type of sound and use
/ or the volume keys to adjust the
volume.
• Caller ringtone to set the volume for the incoming calls ringtone.
