14 Backing Up and Restoring Data

(Backup Data) or (Restore Data).
The primary data drive is listed as “Drive1” in the RSIPrint.config file in the
“C:\Program Files\RSI” directory. By default, this is the C drive. Drive2 is the automatic
backup drive. This is also the C drive in the default installation. If the primary data
directory becomes corrupted, the data from these directories can be used to restore your
jobs, printer license files, and other information. This backup process guards against
data corruption or accidental file deletion during operation.
Although the backup process guards against corruption, it does not guard against
disk failure. Regular backups of important files should be made to avoid data loss.
