INSTRUCTION TO REMOVE THE BELT ON THE CONVEYOR
BEFORE YOU BEGIN SPLICING
DISCONNECT THE POWER TO THE CONVEYOR
FOR FULL STRAND SPLICING
1. Begin splicing in the center.
! Make sure the strand matches the belt to be spliced.
! INSERT the strand ends into the center space of the opposite edge (see space 3 on diagram).
! Pull the ends of the strand through until the center space “locks” in place.
! It is critical to straighten each splice before moving onto the next step.
! USE OUR WIRE STRAIGHTENING TOOL.
2. Upon completion of splice.
! Check drive sprocket alignment.
! Adjust tension.
