The device may be used with the following components for remote and sensor
measurements:
3.1.4 Operation and navigation
The device has 3 keys. These are positioned on the device so that they are below
the displays that they control (graphic D/1). The following describes these softkeys.
3.1.5 Signaling concept
3.1.6 Self-test
Each time it is started up, the X-act 7000 carries out a self-test to subsequently
ensure flawless measurement. This checks the successful communication between
the microcontroller and the individual electronic components. Other component-
specific functions are also checked.
3.1.6.1 Integration mechanism
The motor and mechanism that integrates the MicroTubes into the gas-conducting
path are actuated and perform a short movement that is verified by a sensor. This
ensures that the MicroTubes are contacted by the X-act 7000 as part of a

The key is hereinafter referred to as OK.
This is used to navigate up in the menu and to select the right display. The
key is hereinafter referred to as UP.
This is used to access the menu, navigate down and select the left display.
The key is hereinafter referred to as DOWN.
