instructions. To carry out the above actions, the CC-Vision must be started and a
connection to the X-act 7000 established by clicking the corresponding icon. First
connect the X-act 7000 to the computer using the supplied USB cable.
WARNING
Explosion hazard
The X-act 7000 may not be connected to the PC if the PC is not explosion
protected.
Only connect the X-act 7000 to the PC in non-potentially explosive
atmospheres.
1. Turn on the X-act 7000.
2. Open the USB cover on the X-act 7000. Remove the screw that appears
(Torx 10).
3. Connect the X-act 7000 to the PC using the USB mini cable (83 18 657).
4. Start the CC-Vision software.
5. Click on the X-act 7000 icon in the CC-Vision to establish a connection with the
device. The device must be turned on and be in one of the following statuses to
ensure a correct connection:
6. Once the necessary configurations and actions have been carried out with the
CC-Vision, the device must be shut-down. To do so, hold down the OK button on
the device until the countdown finishes.
7.1.1 X-act 7000 startup screen
The startup screen opens once the connection to the X-act 7000 has been
established. This contains data, such as the part and lot number, and the
designation of the installed firmware version. The instructions for use and the
technical manual can also be opened in electronic form online. Other contents and
functions can be accessed using the navigation menu on the left.
