Dragonfly™ and Salamander™ are complementary technologies that create a force
multiplication capacity for improving situational awareness.
This appendix will detail to the user how to accomplish the following integrations:
1. Connecting to Resource Manager Web™ (Server and SaaS)
2. Connecting to rapidTAG™
3. Connecting to Mobile Express™
4. Connecting to Command™
5. Connecting to interTRAX™
The connections from Dragonfly™ to a Salamander™ technology are designed to be straight
forward and supportable in various environments.
From this point on when discussing “connections”, the following definitions will be applicable:
1. Salamander™ Local connection- An instance when Dragonfly™ and one instance of the
following software are installed on the same computer.
a. rapidTAG™
b. Mobile Express™
c. Command™
2. Salamander™ Local connection (Networked) - An instance when Dragonfly™ and an
instance of the following software are not installed on the same computer.
a. rapidTAG™
b. Mobile Express™
c. Command™
3. Salamander™ interTRAX™ connection- An instance where Dragonfly™ makes a “direct”
connection to the “Incident” database located on the intertraxserver.com web
application.
4. Salamander™ Resource Manager Web™ connection- An instance where Dragonfly
makes a “direct” connection to the “Resource” database web application for the
following software:
a. Resource Manger Web Server™ 4.0 and greater.
b. Resource Manager Web SaaS™ 4.0 and greater.
