Connecting the Voltage and Current Input Pods

Two (2) input pod types, voltage and current, are
connected to the Voltage and Current pod inputs of
DataNode Model HDPQ-DN-MZP. Connection is done
on the rear panel using a 25-PIN interface cable
connector.
The pod inputs are attenuated to low voltage signals
that can be measured by the DataNode.
All connections are safety terminated by the pod,
therefore the DataNode can be safely removed.
The protective earth ground of the HDPQ DataNode
mainframe and the voltage/current pods must be
connected to the same ground reference.
Photos of the Model 5536 voltage pod and Model
5537 current pod (most commonly used pod types)
are shown below. Other pod types with different
specifications are available. Please contact Dranetz
for more information.
