4.4. Notes and Points for Using YDD File
(1) Target area when setting ID authentication mode and security
In the following cases, if the target area of the device function is a part of flash, an error occurs.
Operation mode setting
When current status of microcomputer is in ID authentication mode, and you select
command protection mode in YDD setting.
Security setting
When current status of microcomputer is in any inhibition setting.
(2) Limitations after setting OTP
If any of the blocks is set OTP, please note that it makes impossible to set operation mode,
change security setting or clear LockBit.
Also, you cannot set LockBit to the block that is set OTP.
(3) Limitation after setting serial programming inhibition
Please note that when you set serial programming inhibition setting, the flash programmer
becomes impossible to program flash memory.
(4) The information you set at YDD file is set to the configuration area. All value of configuration
area will be “0xFF” by executing configuration clear. Please note that those setting values may
vary from the factory default setting values of the microcomputer.
