Abstimmbare Dämpfung fir Trittschall
und akustische Riickkopplung
- Durch das Floating-Chassis und die abstimmbaren Schockabsor-
berfüße wird das Gerät weitgehend gegen akustische Rückkopp-
lung und gegen Trittschall geschützt. Den besten Schutz
gegen akustische Rückkoppelung erzielen Sie, Indem Sie den
Einstellhebel an den Gerätefüßen in Stellung A bringen (Fig. 5).
— Treten Erschütterungen durch Trittschall auf (z. B. Schwingen eines
Holzfußbodens), werden diese gedämpft, indem Sie die Einstell-
hebel an den Gerätefüßen in Richtung Position B verstellen (Fig. 5).

Setting up and connection
Remove the unit and all accessories from the packaging. Be sure to
preserve all packaging components for transport, which may possibly
be necessary later.
Störungen
Bei Funktionsstörungen, die eventuell über das Stromnetz kommen,
Netzschalter ziehen und dann wieder einstecken.
Wenn der Antrieb blockiert wird (z. B. durch Anhalten des Plattentellers
mit der Hand), wird eine Schutzschaltung wirksam, die den Motor
abschaltet.
Dabei blinkt die LED in der entsprechenden Drehzahltaste 13, 14 oder
15. Nach ca, 10 Sekunden läuft der Motor wieder an.
Elektrische Sicherheit
Das Gerät entspricht den internationalen Sicherheitsbestimmungen
(IEC 65) und den EG-Richtlinien 82/499/EWG.
Remove the paperboard cut-out from the cabinet and the protective
transport components from the tone arm.
— Install the turntable with the drive belt in place on the rim, but without
the turntable pad, on the drive shaft.
— Rotate the turntable until the motor drive shaft becomes visible
through the aperture on the left-hand side.
— Place the drive belt over the motor drive shaft (fig. 1), and rotate the
turntable through several revolutions. It must thereby be ensured
that the drive belt is correctly positioned over the drive pulley.
— Place the turntable mat on the turntable.
— Remove the complete pick-up head assembly 20 from the packa-
ging and install on the tubular tone arm (fig. 2),
— Secure in place by tightening of the locking nut 8.
Connection to the power mains
— The tumtable unit must be connected to a mains power outlet (AC
only) for a supply voltage of 230 V at 50 or 60 Hz, or for 115 V at 50 or
60 Hz, as indicated on the type plate.
— For this purpose, the appliance coupler on the power cord included
with the unit Is inserted into the receptacle 21 on the rear panel of the
unit.
— The unit can also be connected to the convenience receptacle on
the power amplifier, if avallable.
Connection to amplifier or receiver
— Connect the audio cables to the phono-magnetic inputs of the
amplifier or receiver (black or red RCA-type plug= right channel,
white RCA-type plug =left channel).
— Connect earth wire 18 to the earth connector of your amplifier.
