Two patients can place normal or emergency calls to the master station using individual
call cords. A call from either patient is indicated as a single station call at the master and
duty stations. Placing a call illuminates the room’s associated corridor and zone lights.
The enhanced 4A3185 allows use of the ProCare 2000 System’s reminder and pro-
grammed emergency features. Also with the enhanced model only, if both patients call
at the same time, the calls will be handled in the order that they were placed.
1
Speaker/Microphone
The speaker/microphone allows two-way voice communication between a
person in the room and the attendant at the master station. This hands-free op-
eration provides direct, interactive communication through the station panel.
2
Call Cord Receptacle with Adjacent Amber Call Assurance LED
The two call cord receptacles (one for each patient) accommodate all standard
Dukane call cord devices without entertainment. Unplugging a call cord from
a receptacle automatically places an emergency priority call that can be can-
celed only by reinserting the call cord and pressing the CANCEL touchpad.
The amber LED lights each time a call is placed and remains lit until the call is
answered at the master station or canceled at the originating patient station. It
illuminates for a normal call and flashes rapidly to signify an emergency call.
The LED also flashes slowly if the enhanced station is placed on reminder.
3
CANCEL Touchpad
Press to cancel any call placed from this station or to remove the station from
reminder status.
4
Red Privacy LED
The red privacy LED lights when this station is in the intercommunication
mode or when it is being monitored by a master station.
