Usage Features:
- Outdoor Use Only: The play system is specifically designed and intended for outdoor environments.
- Family Domestic Use: It is meant for private, family use, not for commercial or public playgrounds.
- Adult Supervision: The product must only be used under adult supervision.
- Pre-drilling: All screw holes must be pre-drilled with a 3mm drill bit to prevent timber splitting.
- Bolt Configuration: Specific instructions are provided for installing M10 (10mm diameter) bolts, emphasizing the use of claw washers and nyloc nuts for secure fastening. The claw washer creates a sleeve for the square 'neck' of the bolt.
- Rung Orientation: Rungs for the horizontal and vertical ladders must be placed with grooves in the correct direction.
- Ground Anchoring: Ground anchors are provided and must be fitted to the corners of the play system. Holes need to be dug for these anchors, and they should be filled with compacted soil. Concrete may be used if soil alone is insufficient to secure the anchors.
- Safety Clearances: The play system should be placed on a level surface at least 2 meters from any structures or obstructions (fences, garages, houses, overhanging branches, laundry lines, electrical wires).
- Surface Requirements: Must not be installed on hard surfaces (concrete, asphalt) or wet surfaces where water collects. Low impact matting is recommended below the play system to reduce injury risk.
- Monkey Bar Usage: Monkey bars are not suitable for climbing or walking on top of, as this may lead to injury.
- Post-Assembly Finishing: Unused holes should be plugged with supplied dowels, and all sharp edges or corners should be rounded with sandpaper.
Maintenance Features:
- Regular Checks: Maintenance is crucial and should be carried out at the beginning of each season and at regular intervals during usage. Failure to do so could cause the play system to overturn or become a hazard.
- Fastener Tightness: Check all nuts and bolts for tightness and tighten when required. Replace if sheared.
- Screw Integrity: Check all screws to ensure they have not sheared and replace where necessary.
- Anchor Security: Check all anchors are secure and tighten or replace if required. If ground anchors are pulling out, re-dig them in and cover with concrete.
- Lubrication: Oil all mechanical moving parts, such as swing hooks.
- Timber Condition: Check main structural pieces of wood for deterioration and replace when required. Minor cracks are natural and should not affect structural strength.
- Plastic Coverings: Check green plastic coverings for bolts and replace when required.
- Swing Components: Check swing seats, ropes, and other attachments for deterioration and replace if required. Remove swinging ancillaries when not in use to avoid damage from abnormal weather.
- Wood Treatment: A wood stain/preservative compatible with tanalith 'E' pressure-treated timber can be applied periodically to maintain appearance.
- No Modifications: Do not modify the play system, as this will affect its function and void the warranty.

- Timber extra treated, painted, or stained by the purchaser.
- Knots that do not influence structural stability.
- Cosmetic appearances (colour variations due to structure or age).
- Shakes, cracks, or gaps that do not influence structural strength.
- Timber covered or buried underground.
- Twisted timber that can be installed.
- Queries arising from neglectful construction or modifications by the owner/installer causing timber to deform.
- Valid queries will be satisfied by exchange or replacement of defective parts only.
Colour Transfer Warning:
- The product is pressure-treated with wood preservative and a brown colour additive.
- Consideration should be given to the propensity of the material to stain light-coloured adjacent surfaces (paving flags, render, coated timber).
- Contact between the timber and these surfaces should be limited, and careful storage prior to assembly is recommended to prevent discolouration.
