Summary

Disassembly Procedure

Initial Disassembly: Air Release and Top Cap Loosening

Release air pressure, remove adjustment knobs, and loosen top caps.

Seal Service Procedure

Seal Component Removal

Separate upper assembly, remove seal components and old seal.

Seal Service Procedure - Installation

New Seal Preparation and Installation

Soak new seals, press them evenly into the casting.

Air Service Procedure - Fluid Addition

Lock Ring, End Plug Tightening and Fluid Addition

Tighten lock ring/end plug, apply Loctite, and add suspension fluid.

Damper Rebuild Procedure

Initial Steps: Cartridge Clamping and Bladder Removal

Clamp cartridge, loosen top, remove bladder, note oil.
