11. SCREEN CARE
The D3 features a display which with normal care will provide years of problem free use.
Use a dry, clean, soft cloth to clean the screen. Do not use soap, chemicals, or abrasives to avoid
damaging the screen.
You may also use commercially available wipes that are designed
specifically for LCD screen cleaning. soft cloth. Never use water or solvents when attempting to
clean the display.
Avoid excessive pressure to the display to prevent damage to the LCD (Liquid Crystal Display).
Take care to prevent impacts to the screen to prevent cracking the display.
The D3 also comes with an optional screen protector. In addition to protecting against scratches,
it affords a matte finish that some pilots prefer.
