Serial number
The serial number is located on a label on the power cord.
Serial number
Carry out the relevant checks if the customer reports any unusual machine noises or smells.
• If the noise is a loud, grinding sound, (possibly with strong odour), this may indicate a problem with the motor. Advise
the customer not to use the appliance.
• If the noise is a high pitched or whistling sound, complete the filter wash checks and machine reset diagnostic (see
p.28) as this is likely to be caused by a blockage.
• If there is a burning smell and a slight, fine white smoke when the appliance is first used this is perfectly safe and
normal (see p.30). It should subside with use.
• If the customer reports a strong, electrical type burning smell, arrange a repair and advise the customer not to use the
machine.
