Why does my E.L.B. F-350 Controller unit switch off automatically during normal operation?
    • B
      Bradley ChaneyAug 22, 2025
The unit might be switching off automatically due to several reasons: * The internal enclosure pressure is too near the limit. Try to readjust the leakage air nozzle. * The inlet pressure of the system fails briefly, possibly through activation of a large consumer. Increase the inlet pressure at the pressure regulator up to 3.5 bar maximum. * The pressure is below the MIN value because the enclosure has a leak. Seal off the enclosure and internal installations and possibly readjust the leakage air nozzle. * The pressure is below the MIN value because the cross-section of the inlet for compressed air/ inert gas is too small. Exchange hoses for ones with a larger diameter.

What to do if normal operation does not begin after a successful purge process with my E.L.B. F-350?
    • C
      camerongrahamAug 25, 2025
If normal operation doesn't begin after a successful purge, it could be due to the following reasons: * The pressure is below the MIN value because the internal enclosure pressure is insufficient after the purge, and the pressure drops off. To resolve this, seal off the enclosure and internal installations and possibly readjust the leakage air nozzle. * The pressure is below the MIN value because the pressure regulator is incorrectly set (e.g., 2.0 bar static). Adjust the pressure regulator to, for example, 2.0 bar dynamic (i.e., for flow of compressed air/ inert gas).

Why is the purge process aborted on my E.L.B. Controller?
    • D
      Dawn DeleonAug 26, 2025
The purge process might be aborted if the air quantity is insufficient for a successful purge. Ensure that the dynamic inlet pressure isn't too low and set the inlet pressure to at least 2 bar dynamic.

What happens when MAX pressure has been exceeded in E.L.B. F-350 Controller?
    • D
      Danielle NelsonAug 28, 2025
If the maximum pressure has been exceeded, and the internal enclosure pressure is too high (possibly due to heat), readjust the leakage air nozzle.

Why does the display for enclosure pressure switch off after only 4 seconds on my E.L.B. F-350?
    • C
      Colton BakerAug 29, 2025
The display might switch off after approximately 4 seconds if the pressure is below the MIN value, indicating that the internal enclosure pressure is insufficient after the purge and the pressure drops off. To solve this, seal off the enclosure and internal installations, and possibly readjust the leakage air nozzle.

What does it mean if the display for enclosure pressure on my E.L.B. F-350 stays on longer than 4 seconds before switching off?
    • R
      Raymond StevensonSep 1, 2025
If the display stays on longer than 4 seconds before switching off, it suggests that the pressure is below the MIN value. This indicates that the internal enclosure pressure is insufficient after the purge, and the pressure drops off. Seal off the enclosure and internal installations, and possibly readjust the leakage air nozzle.

Why doesn't the display of enclosure pressure disappear 4 seconds after a pressure drop on my E.L.B. F-350?
    • T
      Timothy HicksSep 2, 2025
If the display of enclosure pressure doesn't disappear 4 seconds after a pressure drop, it indicates that the “Switchpoint of Minimum Pressure“ is incorrectly set. Readjust the limit value.

What causes an EEprom fault on E.L.B. F-350?
    • J
      Jennifer SimpsonSep 8, 2025
If the EEprom is defective, and the values of the same variable differ in all three Eeproms, report the fault to the manufacturer´s service department.
