DO NOT install a stop or catch post in front of the gates path. To do so will cause the gate to hit the post in certain instances. Install catch rollers on the side of
a post or wall. When gate is fully OPEN, the end of the gate MUST stop at least three inches from a obstructing wall or object. The CLOSED gate should overlap
at least four inches from the wall or fence. Positive stops MUST be installed. Install screen or mesh on gate if necessary (see below).

Ornamental Grill Styled Gates: Injuries may be avoided if a mesh screen is
installed on the gate. Injuries resulting from hands and feet becoming stuck in
the gate or children riding on the gate while gate is moving can be greatly
reduced if this “screen” or “mesh” is applied to the gate as a safety precaution.
