9.2 Real-time breaker status
Input status bits 1001 through 1032 are available using func-
tion code 2. The status definitions are defined in Table 19.
The first 16 bits are the actual status state while the last 16
bits indicate if the corresponding status state is supported
by the trip unit and valid.

9.3 Real-time data registers
The ata changing in real time, such as current, voltage,
power, etc. is shown in the Table 19. Real-time data can be
read either in 32-bit IEEE floating point or in 32-bit integer
format. For integer data, the value is multiplied by a scale
factor shown in the last column. Data objects are two
registers (4 bytes) or four registers (8 bytes) in length. Since
these objects have the capability to change in real-time, a
complete data object must be read in a single transaction to
avoid data tearing.
