• To enable the alarm tone in Battery Mode, press and hold the power button for five seconds. The green
LED will flash and the UPS alarm tone will sound, indicating that the alarm has been enabled.
NOTE To verify the alarm status, test the UPS on battery power.

To turn off the UPS, press and hold the ON/OFF button on the front panel for two seconds, the UPS will beep
indicating it is in Standby Mode. Unplug the UPS from the power source. If you do not unplug the UPS, it
remains in Standby Mode.

The Tripp Lite Series UPS system rear panel indicates the UPS status via the UPS LED indicators. Table 2
shows the LED status and operational mode of the UPS.
