Please read these operating instructions before putting the machine into operation and observe the safety precautions.
Children must not operate the machine!
Do not reach beneath the blade!
Never leave the blade unattended! Do not extract or transport the blade without protection!
Do not cut hard materials or materials which may splinter!
Disconnect from the mains before starting any service work or before removing the panels!
Do not operate the machine without the following safety devices: Safety beam guard (A), Panels, tightly screwed (B).
When not in use for a longer period switch off. Blade must always be covered by the pressing bar.
The machine is mobile on castors. Align the machine as followes:
Plug into socket.
It is forbidden to operate the machine if the operating and safety instructions have not been understood.
Position the main switch to "I" (A). Blade locking facility (B) must be pulled out.
The measurement is set either with the handwheel (A) or by programming (B)... Optical cutting line indicator: Mechanical cutting line indicator:
Position the paper on the backgauge (A)... Clamp plate (A) is fitted... Setting clamping pressure with setting wheel (A).
Cutting activation... Press both buttons of the safety two-handed control system (B)...
Operating elements with numbered list.
Cutting to Specified Dimensions. Cut according to markings.
There are 2 multiple cuts to choose from.
If button 15 is pressed instead of button Start 17...
This control system enables you to store 99 programs with 99 programmable steps.
Cancel a program. Deleting a dimension when programming. Working with programs.
If the cutting quality decreases: Check the cutting depth, cutting stick, replace or grind blade.
Danger! Risk of injury! The blade is extremely sharp. Do not extract or transport the blade without protection.
Set mains switch to position "I", Press in blade locking key (C). Remove the left screw (D)...
Replacing the cutting stick (not the blade)... Cutting test after replacing the cutting stick...
Danger! Blade must always be covered by the pressing bar.
Paper cutting test. If the last sheet or several sheets are not completely cut...
Grease and oil the machine according to the lubrication diagram... Type of oil: Aral Vitam DE 46...
The manufacturer recommends a safety check is made every 5 years by an authorised service team.
Machine does not function! Is the machine plugged in?
CUT cannot be made • Measurement has not been reached correctly. LED "S" does not turn off.
Oil pressure set too low. Hydraulic oil shortage.
Does not cut through the last sheet. ... blade must be sharpened or a blade change is necessary.
