OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. POWER button
Turns the air-conditioner ON/OFF, accompanied by asound.
2. MODE button
Use the MODE button to select between cooling (Cool indicator lights up), dehumidi cation (Dehumidify
indicator lights up) or fan (Fan indicator lights up) modes.
3. FAN button – Fan mode
Press FAN to change the fan speed: low – high – low. This feature is not available for the dehumidi cation
mode. Once the speed has been selected, the Fan indicator and also the indicator for the selected speed
(High, Low) will light up. The temperature cannot be changed in this mode, the device only displays an
ambient temperature between 10–35°C.
4. TIMER button
The device can be switched o during operation by con guring the timer. The “Hr” time indicator is on
while con guring the time. The time can only be adjusted when the “Hr” time indicator is on. The room
temperature is then displayed again. Similarly, the device can be switched on by con guring the timer. The
Timer indicator is on when the device is switched on or o via the timer.
a) Press TIMER to switch the device into timer mode. Switching the device o using this button activates
the timed power o . The timer indicator, in the mean time, is on.
b) Press the TIMER button to enter the timer settings feature (scheduled power on/o ). Set the time
using the up and down buttons. The time is adjusted in ascending order: 1 – 2 – 3 – ……24 – 0, or
descending order 24 – 23 – 22 – ……1 – 0 – 24 hours.
c) After setting the on timer, the device will be switched on as soon as the time set is reached. In the
mean time, the timer indicator will be o and the ambient temperature is displayed.
d) After setting the o timer, the device will be switched o as soon as the time set is reached. In the
mean time, the timer indicator will be o and the ambient temperature is displayed.
e) The only valid timer setting is the last setting entered, which is valid only once.
f) Switching the device on/o with abutton or via the remote controller will delete all timer settings.
g) Once the timer is set, pressing the TIMER button will display the remaining time until the device is
switched on/o . If you press the timer button twice within 5 seconds, the timer sequence can be
cancelled.
5. Up/Down buttons
Check the con gured temperature once the device is started. Press the Up/Down buttons to set the desired
temperature. (Pressing the up button once will increase the temperature by 1°C; pressing the down button
will reduce the temperature by 1°C.) It also allows the user to adjust the time for the timer feature; and also
toggles between displaying °C and °F, when both buttons are pressed simultaneously.
Ta ≥ Ts + 1°C (1°F), cooling starts.
Ta ≤ Ts – 1°C (1°F), the compressor stops and only the fan motor runs at the con gured speed.

Cool mode (COOL)
Press MODE to select the cooling mode, the Cool indicator will light up. Use the Up/Down buttons to
adjust the desired temperatures between 17°C to 30°C.
Sleep mode (Sleep)
Press the TIMER and Down buttons to con gure sleep mode. After two hours in sleep mode, the con gured
temperature will automatically increase by 1°C. After another 2 hours, the con gured temperature will
again increase by 1°C. The con gured temperature will no longer change after this and the fan will slow
down to low speed. If this feature is activated, the Sleep indicator will light up.
Dehumidi cation mode (Dehumidify)
The compressor starts if the temperature during the dehumidi cation process exceeds 17°C. The device is
then controlled as follows: The ambient temperature is ≤15°C, the compressor switches o .
