What to do if my Echo CS-4510 Chainsaw engine starts hard or does not start?
- JJulia RamseyJul 27, 2025
If your Echo Chainsaw engine is hard to start or doesn't start at all, here are a few things to check: * The fuel strainer or fuel line might be obstructed. Try to clean or replace them. * The fuel mixture could be too rich. Open the choke, clean or replace the air filter, and adjust the carburetor. * There might be no spark. Ensure the switch is turned to the ON position. * The spark plug might have an incorrect gap, be covered with carbon, fouled with fuel, or be defective. Adjust the gap to 0.65mm (0.026 in.) or clean/replace the plug.
