What to do if my Echo PAS-225 Value Pack engine cranks but won't start?

If your Echo Trimmer engine cranks but doesn't start, the fuel strainer or fuel line might be clogged, or there may be a carburetor issue; try cleaning or replacing the affected parts. The fuel mixture could be too rich; in this case, open the choke, clean or replace the air filter, or adjust the carburetor. The stop switch might be off, or there could be an electrical or interlock switch problem; turn the switch to ON or see your Echo dealer. Finally, the spark gap might be incorrect, covered with carbon, fouled with fuel, or the plug may be defective; adjust the gap to 0.65mm (0.026 in.), clean or replace the components, or replace the spark plug.
