IMPORTANT NOTE - Time intervals shown are maximum. Actual use and your
experience will determine the frequency of required maintenance.
MAINTENANCE PROCEDURE NOTES:
(1) Apply lithium based grease every 25 hours of use.
(2) Inspect blade, and clean and sharpen as needed. Lubricate blades
periodically during use
(3) Low evaporative fuel tanks DO NOT require regular maintenance to maintain
emission integrity
* Replacement is recommended based on the finding of damage or wear during
inspection.
Air Filter
Level 1.
1. Close choke (COLD START [ ] position). This prevents dirt from entering
the carburetor throat when the air filter is removed. Brush accumulated dirt
from air cleaner area.
