What to do if Ecolab VANGUARD WASH MAX Industrial Equipment has inadequate water flow to the dishmachine?
    • B
      browningstephanieAug 8, 2025
If there's little to no effluent flow, first ensure the reservoir cover is completely closed to engage the safety switch. Then, verify that all shut-off valves and the needle valve at the water source are fully open. Check for 24 volts at the solenoid valve coil; if absent, refer to Step C for 'NO POWER TO SOLENOID'. If voltage is present, confirm the valve is opening; if not, it's likely defective and needs replacement. Also, inspect for any blockages in the water line, solenoid valve/line strainer, and the vacuum breaker. Finally, check the spray nozzle for damage and the product outlet tubing for blockages.

Why is there low product concentration causing false alarms in Ecolab VANGUARD WASH MAX Industrial Equipment?
    • J
      Jason HuffAug 16, 2025
A low product concentration can trigger false alarms. Check for the following: * Low water volume and pressure. * Ensure the detergent capsule cap is removed. * Inspect for misaligned, partially plugged, or broken spray nozzle. * Verify water temperature is not too cold (below 120° F (48.9° C)), as solubility decreases at lower temperatures.

How to fix low water pressure in Ecolab VANGUARD WASH MAX?
    • J
      Jennifer SmithAug 27, 2025
If effluent flow is less than 1 gpm, check for a minimum water pressure of 12 psi at the outlet side of the vacuum breaker using a pressure tester. If the pressure is below this level: 1. Ensure there are no kinks in the water feed tube, that the tube has minimal bends and length, and check for blockages in the shut-off/needle valve and solenoid valve. 2. If low water pressure persists, consider converting the 1/4" water feed tube to 3/8" tubing using a low-pressure kit.
