Why has the service flow capacity decreased in my Ecosoft Water Filtration System?
    • D
      David HallAug 12, 2025
If your Ecosoft Water Filtration System's service flow capacity has decreased, it could be due to several reasons. First, check if the supply water pressure is sufficient and increase it if needed. Another possible cause is an obstructed or clogged drain line, which you should inspect and clean. Also, the control valve might be clogged; disassemble, inspect, and clean it. Finally, check the Hard Water Bypass Valve (if installed) for failure and repair it if necessary.

Why has the water quality decreased in my Ecosoft Water Filtration System?
    • V
      Vincent RobinsonAug 20, 2025
If the treated water quality from your Ecosoft Water Filtration System has declined, start by ensuring the bypass is not in bypass position and turn it to operating position. A faulty chemical analysis of water may be the issue, so perform another test using freshly prepared reagents. Also, supply water chemistry may have changed, requiring a new check analysis and contacting your dealer if changes are found. Inspect the conditioner, repair or replace the riser pipe if damaged, and replace or lubricate the seals if needed. Lastly, leakage of raw water inside the control valve may be the cause, so take apart the control valve, inspect, and replace or lubricate the seals if needed.

How to fix a clogged filter bed in my Ecosoft Water Filtration System?
    • G
      gnelsonAug 27, 2025
If the filter bed in your Ecosoft Water Filtration System is clogged, it could be due to an insufficient backwash flow rate. Check the backwash flow rate and if the supply pressure is within limits but the flow rate is still insufficient, inspect and clean the drain line flow control or replace it if needed. Another reason may be an insufficient backwash stage duration. In this case, increase the duration of the backwash stage. Also, the top distributor may be clogged, so you should clean it. Finally, an excessive backwash flow rate can cause this problem. Check the backwash flow rate and if the supply pressure is within the limits and the flow rate is exceeding, change drain line flow control (contact your dealer).

What to do if brine is not drawn during regeneration in my Ecosoft FPA?
    • E
      erictranSep 3, 2025
If brine is not being drawn during regeneration or not all brine is drawn in your Ecosoft Water Filtration System, start by checking the supply water pressure. A low pressure could be the cause. Also, the brine injector or brine tube may be clogged, requiring you to clean them. Another potential issue is a clogged basket or salt crystals on the ball in the air check valve, so clean the air check valve basket and/or ball. Lastly, check the airtightness of the drain line, as a leak could cause air injection.
