Why is my EcoWater ESM11CE water hard sometimes?

  If your EcoWater Water Filtration System is sometimes producing hard water, it could be due to several reasons: * The time setting is wrong. Check and correct the time setting. * The water hardness setting is incorrect. Refer to page 19 to find the correct settings. * The model code programmed is incorrect. Refer to page 18 to find the correct settings. * Hot water is being used while the softener is regenerating. Avoid using hot water during regeneration. * There may be a possible increase in water hardness. Test the raw water and program the timer accordingly. * There could be a leaking faucet or toilet valve, leading to excessive water usage. Fix all leaks.

Why is the salt level not dropping in my EcoWater ESM11CE Water Filtration Systems?

  If your EcoWater Water Filtration System isn't producing soft water and the salt level in the storage tank isn't dropping, the salt may be bridged. Consult page 25 for instructions on how to break the salt bridge. Also, check if the manual bypass valve(s) are in the bypass position. If so, refer to figure 10 on page 16 to move the stem in the single bypass to the service position.

How to fix blank timer display on EcoWater Water Filtration Systems?

  If the timer display on your EcoWater Water Filtration System is blank, it could be due to the following reasons: * The transformer is unplugged or the power cord is disconnected or defective. Check for power loss and correct it. Reset the timer and use the Recharge Now feature. * A fuse is blown, a circuit breaker has popped, or a circuit is switched off. Replace the fuse, reset the circuit breaker, or switch the circuit on. Use the Recharge Now feature. * The timer control board is defective. Replace the Electronic Control Board.

  If your EcoWater Water Filtration System has no soft water, the salt storage tank is full of water, and water is running to the drain while the unit is in the water cycle, consider the following potential causes: * The nozzle & venturi may be dirty, plugged, or damaged. Take it apart, clean, and inspect it. * There may be an inner valve defect causing a leak. Replace the seals and rotor. * The valve drain hose may be plugged. Ensure the hose has no kinks, sharp bends, or blockages. * The system water pressure may be too low or high. Increase well pump output to a minimum of 1.4 bar if the pressure is low. Add a pressure reducing valve if the daytime pressure is over 7 bar. * The brine valve float kit may be dirty or defective. Clean or replace the valve float kit assembly. * T...
