Why is there no Wi-Fi connection on my ECOWITT Weather Station?
    • M
      Michael TaylorAug 13, 2025
If you're having trouble with your ECOWITT Weather Station's Wi-Fi connection, first check for the Wi-Fi symbol on the display. If it's missing but you previously configured it, ensure the console's external power adapter is plugged in, as Wi-Fi requires more power than batteries alone. If you've never successfully configured Wi-Fi, confirm your Wi-Fi supports 2.4 GHz signals (801 type B, G, or N), as the console doesn't support 5 GHz. Verify the correct SSID and password, repeating the setup if needed. Note that the console does not support “captive Wi-Fi” networks.

What to do if ECOWITT WH2910 Weather Station indoor and outdoor temperature do not agree?
    • R
      Richard BowenAug 17, 2025
If the indoor and outdoor temperature readings on your ECOWITT Weather Station don't agree during indoor testing, keep in mind that the sensors should agree within 4 °F (with a sensor accuracy of ± 2 °F). If discrepancies persist, calibrate one or both sensors using calibration offsets to match a known good reference temperature.

What to do if ECOWITT Weather Station indoor and outdoor humidity do not agree?
    • K
      Kevin HopkinsAug 21, 2025
If the indoor and outdoor humidity readings on your ECOWITT Weather Station don't agree during indoor testing, note that the sensors should agree within 10% (the sensor accuracy is ± 5%). If the values still disagree, calibrate one or both sensors using calibration offsets to match a known good reference humidity.

How to fix ECOWITT WH2910 data not reporting to Wunderground.com?
    • D
      david46Aug 25, 2025
To ensure proper data reporting to Wunderground.com with your ECOWITT Weather Station, first, double-check that your station ID is correct, paying close attention to potential misinterpretations between the capital letter 'O' and the number '0,' especially in the station ID's last part. If there's a number "1" on the station key, try to input the lower case of letter "L" to replace it on the app. Next, verify your password (button) matches the one generated by wunderground.com for your station ID, which you can confirm under “My PWS” after logging into wunderground.com. Finally, review your router firewall settings to ensure data can be sent via port 80.

What to do if ECOWITT Weather Station outdoor sensor is not reporting to console?
    • A
      Alexander BaxterAug 28, 2025
If your ECOWITT Weather Station's outdoor sensor isn't reporting to the console, resulting in dashes (--) on the display, begin by checking that the outdoor transmission LED on the sensor's bottom flashes approximately every 16 seconds. If it doesn't, verify the correct battery polarity or reseat the batteries, replacing them if old. If the LED flashes now, ensure fresh batteries are in the console. If issues persist, power cycle the console by removing batteries and the external adapter for 10 seconds, then reconnect. As a test, position the outdoor sensor about 10 feet from the console, power cycle the console again, and wait for the remote sensor search icon to disappear without touching any buttons.

Why does my ECOWITT WH2910 have intermittent problems with outdoor sensor reception?
    • P
      Pamela NicholsSep 1, 2025
If you're experiencing intermittent reception issues with your ECOWITT Weather Station's outdoor sensor, start by installing a fresh set of batteries in both the remote sensor array and the console, using lithium batteries for cold environments. If problems persist, ensure the power adapter isn't too close to the console and that the console is away from electrical devices like TVs or computers. Try moving the sensor and console closer, but not less than 5 feet apart, and verify there are no metal barriers obstructing the line of sight. Relocate the sensor and console as needed to avoid obstacles, potentially moving the outdoor sensor higher or closer.

Why doesn't relative pressure agree with official reporting station on my ECOWITT WH2910?
    • J
      Juan Wilcox Jr.Sep 5, 2025
If your ECOWITT Weather Station's relative pressure doesn't match the official reporting station, be sure you're not looking at absolute pressure, especially if your station isn't near sea level. Check at different times for updates to the official station. Redo the pressure calibration procedure.

How to fix ECOWITT WH2910 indoor temperature sensor reading too high?
    • D
      donnafergusonSep 9, 2025
To address indoor temperature readings that are too high on your ECOWITT Weather Station, ensure the thermo-hygrometer is placed indoors, away from direct sunlight, radiative heating, or convective heating sources.
