If your EdgeStar Air Conditioner blows cold air but doesn't lower the room temperature, try the following: minimize the area to be cooled (e.g., add a drop ceiling), close any open doors or windows, and remove or shut off additional heat sources. Ensure the room is adequately insulated and that the room temperature is below 90° F. Close curtains or blinds to minimize direct sunlight. Clean or replace the filter if it's dusty or blocked, carefully vacuum the condenser coils, and remove any obstructions from the air intake or exhaust ports.
