Step 3: Prepare the Dishwasher Enclosure (New Installations)
If the cabinet bottom is flush with the floor, use a hole saw to cut a hole into the side of the cabinet
that holds the sink as shown if Figure 1-1.
If the bottom inside the cabinet that holds the sink is raised above the kitchen floor and is higher than
the connections on the dishwasher, cut a hole in the base inside the cabinet AND a hole in the
cabinet side as shown in Figure 1-2.
Depending on where the electrical outlet is, a hole may also need to be cut in the opposite cabinet
side.
