5.2.1 Start and stop
Use the buons (Figure: User interface panel on page 32, items 3 and 12) to start and
stop the pump. Note that the stop command does not isolate the pump from the
electrical supply.
5.2.2 Standby
Operaon at reduced speed will further improve p seal and bearing service life.
Vacuum performance will be reduced when operang at standby speed.
Press the Standby buon to select standby mode. The pump will inially run at factory
default standby speed (70% of full speed). The speed can be adjusted using the increase
and decrease standby speed buons. The maximum standby speed is 100% of the
default run speed and the minimum standby speed is 67% of the default run speed. A
single short push will change the speed by 1% of the default run speed, holding the
buon will change the speed by 1%/sec. Once adjusted, the pump will return to this new
user‑dened speed each me standby speed is selected.
The Standby buon must be pressed to return to normal run speed.
