8. Storage and disposal
8.1 St
orage
Use the following procedure to store the pump:
1. Shut down the pump as described in Shut down on page 36.
2. Disconnect the pump from the electrical supply.
3. Place and secure protecve covers over the inlet and outlet ports.
4. Store the pump in cool, dry condions unl required for use. When required,
prepare and install the pump as described in Installaon on page 25.
8.2 Disposal
Dispose of the pump and any components from it safely in accordance with all local and
naonal safety and environmental requirements.
Parcular care must be taken with components which have been contaminated with
dangerous process substances.
Do not incinerate uoroelastomer seals and O‑rings.
