The Device and its Operation
If the mains is present, the start process begins after pressing the two ON
keys for 3 seconds. Afterwards, the UPS switches to bypass operation for
approximately 10 seconds. Then the mains operation is automatically acti-
vated. If no mains was present during the start process, the UPS switches
directly to support operation after the start process.
Only the key "POWER ON/OFF" is pressed for 3 seconds with the types
1000RM and 1500RM.
Display/warning:
The yellow LED (WARNING) lights up during the bypass operation; the
acoustic warning sounds 2 x briefly.
If the mains is present and if the UPS has completely finished the start
process, the UPS is automatically in mains operation.
-> In this type of operation, the battery bank is charged in accordance with
need.
Display/warning:
Only the green LED (NORMAL) blinks constantly, no acoustic warning.
If the mains fails, the UPS immediately switches to support operation.
Display/warning:
The yellow LED (WARNING) lights up.
The acoustic warning sounds in the sequence (A);
(Beep -> long pause (4 sec.) -> Beep -> ..., repeating).
If the battery falls below the limit of battery low, the warning sounds in the
following sequence (B);
(Beep -> short pause (1 sec.) -> Beep -> ..., repeating).
