4.8 – USE
After positioning the lift as described and having carried out the electrical and hydraulic connections, the necessary operations for the operation of the lift
can be carried out.
1. Open the front door of the control unit and unscrew the oil tank cap;
2. Insert through a funnel, 5 lt of hydraulic oil with viscosity 46 CST or other equivalent;
3. Set the main switch to position 1;
4. Press rising button and limit switch exclusion button until the maximum height of the lift is reached: if the lift doesn’t move but the
motor runs regularly, make sure that it has the right sense of rotation, if not, reverse the phases on the power supply line.
5. Unscrew the cylinder bleeding screw of one cylinder, allow air and oil to exit until only oil comes out and close the bleeding valve
(repeat the operation on all 4 cylinders).
6. Lower the lift to ground level until it is completely closed.
7. Repeat the operation of points 4, 5 and 6 for at least 3 times.
8. If functioning is not proper, so if the lift has a spring effect, probably there is still air in the circuit so repeat again the complete
bleeding operation.
Before getting on / off with the car from the lift, make sure the platforms are completely closed; rise with the car on the lift very slowly making sure that it
is well centered on the platforms as shown in the following figure. Place the rubber pads on the platforms of the lift respecting the lifting points
recommended by the car manufacturer and the reference standard.
Push “rising” button and bring the lift to the requested height; for lowering, press “lowering” button.
During lowering phase the lifts stops at about 400 mm height from the lowest position; to start again, release the down button and then press it again;
from that moment till the complete closure of the lift a safety acoustic signal will sound.
In the first working hours of the lift, noises or squeaking may occur due to the fact that mechanical components have not yet settled.
