8.2 – DIAGNOSTICS
Problem Cause Remedy
1
Pressed rising button, the lift is
motionless and the motor does not
turn
General switch closed Check and reset.
Power supply interrupted Check and reset.
Motor contactor damaged
Check that the contactor coil is working and that the
contactor starts when it is powered at 24 volts.
Fuse blown on the 24 volt power
supply
Check and if necessary replace the fuse in the
transformer.
Faulty transformer Check input and output voltage of the transformer.
Thermal overheating of the motor
Wait 10 minutes and try to start again, then check with a
tester that the contact is closed.
2
Pressed rising button, the lift is
motionless and the motor turns
Reverse motor rotation
Reverse the phase and check that the motor rotates in
the direction indicated by the arrow.
The load to be lifted is too heavy
and the maximum pressure valve
closes the circuit.
The lift is being used beyond its load capacity
Oil level in the tank is too low Check quantity and top up the oil
Manual operator EV on the
hydraulic block is opened
Check and tighten screws
O-ring gaskets of the lowering
valves on the block are damaged
or leaky
Check the gaskets and replace if necessary
Oil filter obstructed Check and clean the filter
Faulty hydraulic pump
Check that the oil comes out from the outlet on the
hydraulic block after disconnecting the relative hose.
Replace the pump if no oil comes out of the divider
outputs.
Locked cylinders Contact technical assistance.
3
Pressed lowering button and the
lift does not lower
Check that there are no obstacles
that prevent lowering
Remove the obstacle.
Check that the main switch is
activated and that the power
supply is not interrupted
Check and eventually power the lift
Damaged fuses
Check and if necessary replace the fuses on the board,
transformer or on main supply after eliminating the cause
of the short circuit.
Faulty transformer Check the input and output voltage of the transformer.
Faulty or non-powered coils on
valves
Check whether with direct 24V on the coils, the valve is
activated
Faulty electrical components
Check the operation of the solenoid valve relays; replace
fuses if damaged
4
Pressed lowering button, the lift
does not lower but releases a
continuous acoustic signal
MR1 Micro or not perfectly
positioned or broken, cut or
disconnected cable
Check the connection and if necessary replace the faulty
micro
MR4 Micro or not perfectly
positioned or broken cut or
disconnected cable
Check the connection and if necessary replace the faulty
micro
5
The lift is closed, but one of the
two platforms remains higher
Check that there are no obstacles
blocking closure
Remove the obstacle.
