Wizard Up30 M Rev. 0 01/02/2018
Pag. 24
A copy of this manual needs to be given to the operator, it must be ascertained that the operator has seen it
and therefore knows how to safely drive the machine.
The safety of use of the machine is guaranteed only by following scrupulously the functions listed in this
manual. The owner and / or manager is obliged to provide all information and necessary assistance for the
protection of the operators’ plant physical health.
DANGER
Before starting the machine, check that the safety devices are properly mounted and working.
DANGER
Load and unload the machine with maximum care, making sure that there are no persons
or objects in the range of the lifting device during handling.
The supplied machine presents some risks that for the specific type of work to be performed cannot be completely eliminated with security systems. It is
therefore absolutely necessary that the operator is informed and that he uses the machine with extreme caution. These risks are described below.
Component or part causing the
risk
Description of the residual risk
Parachute valve
The parachute valves installed in the hydraulic cylinders prevent the risk of load falling, in case
of breakage of one or more hydraulic components, the valves are tested to operate with loads
between 40% and 100% of nominal load.
However, outside this range, or with non-compliant hydraulic oils (see paragraph ORDINARY
MAINTENANCE), or with working temperatures higher or lower than the design ones (see
paragraph TECHNICAL FEATURES), the valves could not work as expected.
Therefore, strictly follow all the instructions in this manual.
Lifted load
There is a risk of stability loss of the lifted vehicle if the vehicle itself has not been properly
positioned on the platforms, if the dimensions are not compatible with the lift and if the vehicle
receives a major impact. Therefore, strictly follow all the instructions in this manual.
Lift platforms, lifted load
There is a risk of collision when the lift is in the raised position.
Therefore, strictly follow all the instructions in this manual.
Lift platforms
Stop & go anti-crush function with acoustic hazard signal is operational.
This function reduces significantly but does not completely eliminate the risk of crushing during
the lowering phase of the load.
IT IS FORBIDDEN approach the load when lowering,
keeping appropriate distances, and it is
up to the user to make sure that usual operating area of the lift is clear of people, things,
animals (see paragraph GENERAL SAFETY RULES).
Working place
The presence on the floor of fluids released by the vehicle could generate a slipping risk. Keep
always clean the working place of the lift.
Make sure the working area is always well lit, also referring to local rules on workplaces safety,
to avoid risks due to insufficient lighting.
Control panel
High voltage is present inside the control panel.
Do not use compressed air, water jets, diluents or aggressive detergents for paint or
mechanical and electrical parts near the electrical panel. Do not use water to turn off a fire.
Access to the electrical panel is permitted only to qualified personnel with adequate training,
able to understand the risks and to prove the good functioning of the lift and all related
mechanical and electrical safety systems.
Lift
Presence of unauthorized persons near the lift is not permitted, both during operation and
when the vehicle is in the raised position. It is forbidden to rise on the load or on the device
supporting the load when it is in a raised position. Any incorrect use of the lift can cause
serious injury to people. Using a lock (not supplied) it is possible to inhibit the rotation of the
main switch by unauthorized personnel.
