CAUSE
The DMU receives a not allowed, anomalous pressure value relating to rst boom cylinder.
! FAILURE ANALYSIS
If the computer is connected to crane (tools sensor diagnostics DMU hardware) the error
state is displayed:
- “1” appears next to: “pressure sensor damaged (0 bar)
CHECK
Check that the error state disappears and a pressure value of about 135 appears on computer when
carrying out the electric by-pass on transducer connecting cable, as outlined in Chapter 17 (This check
is equivalent to connecting a new transducer electrically only, without inserting it into cylinder, and
you should read a pressure value of 0 bar).
SOLUTION
Replace the pressure transducer.
! FAILURE ANALYSIS
If the computer is connected to crane (tools sensor diagnostics DMU hardware) the error
state is displayed:
- “1” appears next to pressure sensor damaged (out of range)
