M) The warning light 1 flashes quickly,
the warning lights 2, 3, 4, and 7 are lighted up permanently

CAUSE
The DMU receives an anomalous angle value relating to jib position.
! FAILURE ANALYSIS
If the computer is connected to crane (tools sensor diagnostics DMU hardware) the error
state is displayed:
- “1” appears next to: “jib angular sensor damaged”
CHECK
Check that the error state disappears on the computer when carrying out the electric by-pass on angu-
lar sensor connecting cable, as outlined in Chapter 17. The read angular value depends on the second
boom position and on the type of jib. If the error state continues, the angular sensor is short-circuited
or damaged.
SOLUTION
Replace angular sensor.
