V
SAFETY
NOTICE
WARNING!
POTENTIALLY
LETHAL VOLTAGES
ARE PRESENT
INSIDE
THIS
APPARATUS.
THESE
SER-
VICE
INSTRUCTIONS ARE FOR USE
BY
QUALIFIED
PERSONNEL
ONLY.
TO AVOID
ELECTRIC
SHOCK,
DO NOT PERFORM
ANY
SERVICING
OTHER
THAN THAT
CONTAINED
IN
THE OPERATING
INSTRUC-
TIONS
UNLESS
YOU
ARE
QUALIFIED
TO TO SO.
Any
adjustment,
maintenance
and
repair
of
the
opened
apparatus
under voltage shall
be
avoided
as
far as
possible
and,
if unavoidable, shall
be
carried
out
only
by
a
skilled
person
who is
aware
of
the
hazard
involved.
When
the
apparatus
is
connected
to a power
source,
terminals
may
be live, and
the
opening
of
covers
or
removal of parts
is likely
to expose
live
parts.
The apparatus shall
be disconnected
from
all
voltage sources
before it is opened
for any
adjustment,
maintenance,
or
repair.
Note
that capacitors
inside the
apparatus may
still
be charged
even if
the
ap-
paratus
has been
disconnected
from all voltage sources.
Service personnel
are
thus
advised
to
wait
several minutes
after
unplugging
the
instrument before
assuming
that
all
capacitors
are
discharged.
If
any
fuses
are replaced,
be
sure
to
replace them
with
fuses
of the
same
current and
voltage
rating and
of
the
same
type.
The
use
of
makeshift
fuses
and
the
short-circuiting
of
fuse holders
are
prohibited.
